Well-known star of stage and screen reveals....

1) His last name
2) His intention to run for Mayor of Toronto!

Come to the 180º Campaign Launch on April 28th, 7:30 pm.
OISE Auditorium, 252 Bloor St. W at the St. George Subway.

Please, blog friends, get your networks involved. If I have a chance of making any kind of impact in this campaign, it will be with your help. There is the possibility of an exponential thing happening here but I can't do it without you. A special invite to the Improv Nation.

  1. Hello, Mr. Gomberg,

I am writing to you representing All Fired Up in the Big Smoke (http://afuitbs.wordpress.com). It is a blog that concentrates on municipal politics in general, Toronto's in particular. On Fridays, we've been posting columns featuring one of Toronto's "other" mayoral candidates. Those candidates that don't get much coverage in the mainstream media and are overlooked even by small sites like ours.

We would like to profile your candidacy on Friday April 23rd. So we will ask a generic question of the candidates and go from there. The question is: If the present mayor would like his legacy to be that of the Transit Mayor, how would a Mayor Gomberg like to see his legacy written?

If you'd like to get into more specifics, we would do that as well. We will spend some time looking over your internet information (blog, Twitter account, Facebook) in order to get a fuller understanding of why you are running for mayor and your vision for this city if you were elected.

We understand if you'd just as soon spend your time elsewhere as All Fired Up in the Big Smoke does not offer a wide reach of readers and we will not take offense if you choose to ignore our request. We will post a column about your campaign regardless and silence on your end will not be reflected badly in our presentation. Thank you and we hope to hear back from you.
